George Staikos, President and Developer

George has been developing Open Source software for over 15 years, and commercial software for nearly as long. In particular, he has been a key contributor to the KDE project and other popular Open Source projects. He is also a regular contributor to the WebKit project and helps co-ordinate the WebKit port to Qt 4.x. As a regular Qt programmer since 1998, George is a recognized expert in the use of Qt and Qt-related technologies.

George earned an Honours B.Sc. in computer science and astrophysics from the University of Toronto.

Matthew Staikos, Vice President Professional Services, Developer

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds a degree in Computer Engineering. He has worked in the software development industry since 1999. He is an expert Qt and Qtopia developer and has industry experience working with C and C++, Java as well as many web technologies, on Linux, Solaris, and Windows platforms. He also has special interest in pattern recognition and image processing for computer vision applications.

Christina Grivakis, Vice President Business and Legal Affairs

Christina obtained a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Law degree from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005. Prior to assuming her current position, Christina worked in private practice for a large downtown Toronto law firm where she gained experience with employment law, corporate/commercial law and intellectual property law.

Eli Fidler, Developer

Eli is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with a M.A.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering and a B.A.Sc. degree in Engineering Science. He has software development experience working primarily with C/C++ and Java, as well as a variety of scripting languages. His commercial development experience began in 1999. He has worked on many platforms, particularly Linux, Microsoft Windows, Solaris, BSD, and IRIX. He has extensive experience with Open Source software, Web technologies, networking and Middleware systems.

Adam Treat, Developer

Adam has worked as a software developer since 2000 and is an active contributor and senior developer of the leading K Desktop Environment, the world's largest repository of Qt-based software. He has extensive expertise in multi-platform GUI development and C++ object-oriented design and programming. In addition to C++, Adam is skilled in a number of other programming languages including Java, C# and various W3C technologies.

Mike Fenton, Developer

Mike obtained an M.Sc. in Computer Science and HB.Sc. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Lakehead University. Mike has worked as a software developer since 2003, gaining industry experience with C/C++, C# and Java, as well as various web and scripting languages. He has particular experience working on a variety of platforms including Linux, Microsoft Windows and numerous embedded platforms.

Yong Li, Developer

Yong obtained a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in Beijing. Yong's career as a software developer began in 1997. Since that time, he has worked professionally with C/C++, C# and other development tools on Microsoft Windows and Linux. Yong also has considerable experience with cross-platform communication solutions, cross-platform C++ library development, image processing, and GUI development with a variety of different development kits, including Qt.

Charles Wei, Developer

Charles obtained a Bachelor degree and a Master degree in Automatic Control Engineering. He has worked professionally as a software developer for more than 10 years, during which time he has gained particular expertise working with C++ as well as Qt. Charles has a specific interest in developing software on Linux for mobile devices, which was sparked by his previous work experience in the mobile and telecommunications industries.

Genevieve Mak, Developer

Genevieve graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science (specializing in Computer Engineering). Throughout her career as a software developer, Genevieve has gained experience working with C, C++ and PHP on a variety of platforms including Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. She has also obtained professional experience programming applications using Qt.

Joe Mason, Developer

Joe is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, having received a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science. Joe began working professionally as a software developer in 1998. Throughout his career, Joe has gained extensive development experience in Linux and Windows using C, C++, Java and Python. Joe has also worked at length with a number of different development kits, including Qt.
